Claiborne Eugene Wilson

Claiborne Eugene "Gene" Wilson, age 75 passed away in Monroe, North Carolina on January 31, 2010.  He was of the Baptist faith.   Gene had a great love for music. He played the guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and piano.

He is preceded in death by parents Elijah & Bessie (Fowler) Wilson; daughter Cathy Wilson; son Ronald Wilson; brothers James Obern Wilson, and Wilbourne "Cotton" Wilson

He is survived by son Darrell Wilson of California, step-daughters Connie and Cindy of Florida; brother Robert D. Wilson of LaFollette; sister Carolyn Nelson of LaFollette; His twin sister Josephine has joined him in their heavenly home on Monday, January 8, 2018.

He will be laid to rest with his twin sister on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Jacksboro cemetery.
