Clyde Green

Clyde "Goalpost" Green age 68 of Jacksboro passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville.He was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Green enjoyed watching sports especially UT football, and religious programs. He also enjoyed painting and coloring. He loved his family very much.

Preceded in death by Parents: Boyd Green and Jessie Leach Green. Nephews: Brad Caldwell.

Survived by Brothers: Boyd Jr., Ray, Roy, and Paul Green all of Jacksboro. Sisters: Emma Lee Caldwell of Caryville and Hilda Green of Jacksboro. Nieces: Melissa, Jessica, Maria, and Emily. Nephews: Eric and Jonathan. Great Nephews: Drew, Matthew, Cody, Mekhi, and Michael. Great Nieces: Katilyn, Mason, and Abilyn. Special friend: Adrian Chess.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Bill Asbury officiating. Interment will be 10AM Wednesday in Jacksboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday night before funeral service.
