Cordia Sutton

Cordia Sutton, age 78 of LaFollette passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016. She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church. Cordia enjoyed reading books, her church family, and taking care of her extended family that she loved very much.

She is preceded in death by her son Johnny Sutton; parents Henry and Ola (Ivey) Comer; brother John Comer.

She is survived by husband Ralph Sutton of LaFollette; son Danny (Peggy) Sutton of Knoxville, and Mark Sutton of LaFollette; daughter Amy Rose Martin of Caryville; brother Jim Comer of LaFollette; sisters Maggie Walden and Anna Mae Sims both of Jacksboro; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, June 14, 2016 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home; service to follow at 8 PM with Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:15 AM Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for the 11 AM interment in Sutton Cemetery.

Martin Wilson Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
