Curtis Monday

Curtis C. Monday, age 83 of Lafollette passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at his home. He was a lifelong member and trustee of Ford Town Baptist Church. Curtis loved his family, church and his business.

Preceded in death by Parents: Fred and Icy Lasley Monday. Sisters: June Harrell and Bonnie Monday.

Survived by Wife: Hazel Monday of 63 years. Daughters and Sons in Law: Jan and David Bales and Sandy and Fred Cain all of Lafollette. Grandchildren: Stephanie and Husband Kent Baker of Knoxville. David Bales Jr. of Lafollette. Michael and Wife Jessica Cain of Lafollette. Matt and Wife Lindsay Cain of Andersonville, TN. Great Grandchildren: Lexie and Emelie Baker and Davy and Aidan Bales. Sister: Charlene Bean of Speedwell. Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. James Farris and Home Health Priority. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ford Town Baptist Church.

Funeral Service will be 2 PM Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Ford Town Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Dupuy and Rev. Adam Hunley officiating. Interment will follow in Fincastle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 PM Saturday before funeral service.
