Curtis Shoun

Curtis Shoun age 78 of Jacksboro passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. He was a founded member and deacon of Fundamental Baptist Church. Curt enjoyed fishing, going to church, and his family was his life.

Preceded in death by Parents: HF and Susan Shoun. Brothers: George and Carlos Shoun. Sisters: Lillian Myanette, Eva Human, Alma Wright, Gladys Shoun, and Ruth Lindsay.

Survived by Wife: Geneva Shoun , Daughters: Joann Chapman and Husband: Steve, Martha Smith and Husband: Gary all of Jacksboro. Grandchildren : Amy Jo Childress and Lea Denise Gibson, Great Grandchildren: Paige, Bryson, Ali Jo Childress, and Keelee Gibson. Brother: HF Shoun JR. of Jacksboro. Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of Relatives and Friends.

Funeral service will be 1 PM Saturday, January 8th in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Larry Russell officiating. Interment will follow in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 PM Saturday before funeral service.
