David Allen Bowens

David Allen Bowens, age 42 of LaFollette, departed this life on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the LaFollette Medical Center. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, coach, and friend. David loved fishing, wrestling, going to Tazwell Speedway and Kentucky Basketball. He was a simple man that will be missed dearly. David loved coaching baseball and basketball, where he made an impact in so many kids life's.

He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Bowens and infant daughter, Madison.

David is survived by his wife, Daphne Bowens of LaFollette; his daughters, Abby and Emily Bowens both of LaFollette; his sons, Brody and Oakley Bowens both of LaFollette; his mother, Cheryl (Hill) Nelson of LaFollette; his brother, Matt Bowens and wife, Jennifer of Jacksboro; his nephew, Princeton and his niece, Rylynn. David is also survived by other family members, so many friends, and his co-workers at Clayton Homes.

Graveside services for David Allen Bowens will be on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Bakers Forge Cemetery at 10:00 AM with his coaching brother and friend Jason Freeman speaking.
