David Ford

David Ford, age 78 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 21, 2025. He was born on April 28, 1947 to the late O.D. and Lula Byrge Ford. He enjoyed spending time with his sister and family. David loved his church, High Street Baptist Church, and church family. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing with his dog, Joey, and sitting on the front porch talking to everyone.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his wife, Irene Ford; and niece, Glenna Polson.

David is survived by sister, Floetta Byrge; nieces, Shannon Byrge and Linda Parks; nephew, Jackie Polson; great nephew, Greg Marsee Jr. and wife Rachel; great-great nephews, Ethan, Matthew, and Gordi Marsee; special great nephew, Cody Polson and wife Sarah, and their children Bentley, Hayden, and Jax; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday October 2, 2025 from 10 Am to 11 AM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, graveside service to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. James Adkins and Rev. Thomas Adkins officiating.

The family has entrusted the care of David Ford to Martin Wilson Funeral Home "Where Families Matter Most."
