Deanna Phillips Young

Deanna Phillips Young, age 63, of LaFollette passed away on Wednesday, November 19th, 2014 at the Tennova Downtown Knoxville. She was born on January 12, 1951. Deanna was a member of the Fincastle Church of God in LaFollette. She loved the Lord and her family beyond measure.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Young; parents Killmer & Ora (Cooper) Phillips; sister Ruby Evon Phillips; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.

She is survived by her sons Willard Dewayne Young & wife Tammy Melissa and Killmer Vernon Young & wife Stephanie both of LaFollette; granddaughter Amber Diana Pierce & husband Ben of LaFollette; grandsons Jerry Dale Young & wife Molly, Edward Vernon Young and Logan Blake Poston all of LaFollette; great-grandchildren Jacob Ray Pierce, Maylie Faye, Maggie Mae, Saline Marie Young of LaFollette; sister Pamela Key Olivio & husband Joseph John of Caryville; nephew Joe Wilson & wife Samantha of LaFollette; great-nephews Preston Scott and Mathew John Wilson; great-niece Braelynn Faith Wilson; great-grandchildren Issac, Sam and Tasha Hill, Anthony Shane, Morgan Kilby, Megan and Mickey Green, Ricky Bailey, Jr.; ex-daughter-in-law Missy Justice; uncles and aunts Odis Phillips & wife Elaine, Virgil Phillips & wife Louise, Frosty Henderson, Oma and Evan Heatherly, Elizabeth Phillips, Nadine and Carlos Lambdin and Carrie Ginn; many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, November 21st, 2014 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with the funeral service to follow with Rev. Mike Smith and Rev. Sonny Wilkes officiating. Interment will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 22nd, 2014 in the Cumberland View Cemetery.
