Debra Lynn (Wilson) Byrd

Debra Lynn Byrd, age 66 of Jacksboro, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at her home. She was born on January 31, 1956 Debra was a loving wife of 48 years and a loving mother. She loved traveling and spending time with her family, her husband Gary, son Adam, wife Sheena, and grand dog Edgar. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Midway Baptist Church. Debra worked for over 40 years under four different clerks at the circuit court clerk's office in Campbell County.

She is preceded in death by Roy and mom Pauline Hatmaker; father Rev. Luke Wilson and mother Bonnie (Goins) Wilson; father and mother-in-law Kermit and Rose Byrd; brother Roger Wilson; and sisters Judy Russell, Linda Nelson, and Tammy Wilson.

She is survived by her loving husband Gary Byrd; son Gary Adam Byrd and wife Sheena of Jacksboro; brothers Bill Wilson and wife Debbie of Jacksboro and Chris Hatmaker and daughter Ryleigh; sister Barbara Acuff and husband John of Knoxville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2022 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2022 to go in funeral procession to Cumberland View Cemetery for an 10:00 AM interment.
