Dennis Kitts

Dennis Kitts, age 79, of LaFollette passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at UT Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, & several other Conflicts. He was a Ranger with the 5th Special Forces in Vietnam. Mr. Kitts was an EMT with the LaFollette Ambulance Service for 29 years and with Vital Care for the remainder of his career..He enjoyed playing bluegrass music, restoring antique cars, traveling with his wife, going to antique shops, and spending time with his grandkids & family whom he loved very much.

He was preceded in death by his wife Maxie Lea Kitts and parents Albert Jesse & Mary Elizabeth (Ayers) Kitts.

He is survived by his children Pamela Garner of LaFollette, Dennis R. Kitts & wife Rhonda of Jacksboro, Sherry Carlson of Jacksboro, Martin Kitts & wife Rebecca of Speedwell, and Albert Kitts & wife Kelly of LaFollette, brothers Don Kitts of LaFollette, Clayton Kitts of Franklin, TN, and Warren Kitts of Caryville, sister Sue Evans of Caryville, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 8:00 pm with Rev Lynn Ray officiating. Interment will be on Sunday, December, 23rd, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Woodlawn Cemetery with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of the service.
