Don H. Daugherty

Don Daugherty, age 64, of Jacksboro passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Murrayville Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father Andy Daugherty, brother Ronnie Daugherty and grandparents Dan & Verdie Daugherty and Rueben & Temie Hamby.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Daugherty of Jacksboro; son Donnie Daugherty of Jacksboro; daughters Connie Young & husband Donald of LaFollette and Amy Daugherty of Jacksboro; stepson Lenord Turner of Jacksboro; mother Nora Daugherty of Jacksboro; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren; sisters Carolyn Baker & husband Ralph of Dayton, Ohio and Nina Howard & husband Rev. Richard of Jacksboro; the mother of his children Joyce Hornsby & husband Tom of Jacksboro and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow at 8:00 pm with Rev. Donald Shown and Rev. Derek Hembree officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 am on Monday, August 24, 2015 in Cumberland View Cemetery.
