Donald Eugene Young

Donald Eugene Young, age 54 of LaFollette, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at his home.  He was born on August 16, 1969, to the late Ray Young and Nina (Walden) Young. Donald loved framing houses, farming, fishing, hunting, talking CB radio, with his handle being Jesse James, working on cars, and spending time with his family and grandkids. He was a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church in LaFollette.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother James Muse.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Connie Young of LaFollette; sons Donald "L.D." Young of Jacksboro, Justin Young and Rachel of LaFollette, and Preston Young and Emma of LaFollette; grandchildren Bentley, Paisley, Kenley, Everhett, Carson, Skylee, Isaac, Carter, and Waylon; brothers Mark Young of LaFollette and David Young of Georgia; special aunts Hamp Bratcher and Sue Poteet; mothers-in-law's Joyce Hornsby and Sandra Daugherty; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, 305 E. Beech Street, LaFollette TN, with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Bro. Troy Arnold and Dwight Stanley officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Bakers Forge Cemetery for an 11:00 AM interment.
