Donna Underwood McKamey, age 72, of Caryville passed away Thursday September 29, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer, she was surrounded by her loved ones. Donna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a retired license practical nurse, practicing in LaFollette and Harriman. She was a loving and giving person, she was of the Baptist faith.
Donna is preceded in death by parents Ruth and Clarence Underwood from Harriman, brothers Bob, Darrell, Mike and Doug Underwood from Harriman and Ronnie Underwood from Springfield, Ohio, 2 grandchildren, Andrew Jones and Whitney Powers
Survived by her loving husband Eather McKamey, 3 daughters Kelly (Jeff) Helton from Kingston, Kim (Mike) Powers Loudon, Cathy McKamey from Caryville, 5 sons Chester (Karen) McKamey from Jacksboro, David (Donna Davis) McKamey from Rocky Top, Jimmy (Donna) McKamey from Caryville, Jerry (Jodi) McKamey from LaFollette and Stanley (Sondra) McKamey from Caryville, 2 brothers David (Debby) Underwood of Loudon, Danny Underwood of Loudon, 2 sisters Lavenia McNew of Harriman and Janice Scarbough of Loudon. Donna is survived by 14 grandchildren Rodney Helton, Julie Waddell), Samantha Helton, Ashley (Gary)Rawls, Chasity Powers, Amanda Toler (Billy) Clawson, Ashley (Mike) Potts, Jesse McKamey, Whitney (Curti) Taylor, Thomas (Heather) McKamey, Sherell McKamey (Zack) Owens, Margaret (Jacob) Jeffers, Kellie (Justin) Thompson, Kelsy McKamey (Hunter Ellison) and Kaylie McKamey (Austin Carroll), 12 great grandchildren Malachi, Glenn and Aaliyaha Rawls, Raelin and Ethan Toler, MacKenzie and Alexis Potts, Dylan and Dallas Taylor, Gannon Thompson, Kolten and expected arrival Kaleb Jeffers and a host of nieces and nephews, sisters in law Julie Davenport, Berthie Woods and Ranie Ward, special thank you to Dr. Hanna's office and UT hospice care for their love , care and support.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Monday October 3, 2016 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with service to follow with Rev. Lee Phillips officiating Interment will be 1:00 pm Tuesday October 4, 2016 in Emory Heights cemetery in Harriman with Richard Turbiville in charge of graveside service.
