Donnie Tommy Berry

Donnie (D.T.) Berry, age 71 of Speedwell passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County after a long battle of cancer. He served one tour of duty in the U.S. Army. He was a truck driver for many years and enjoyed farming, gardening and fishing. He loved the outdoors and his family and friends very much.

Preceded in death Parents: Boss and Mell Berry. Sister: Jewel Berry Pierce. Grandparents: Tommy and Hassie Berry and Donnie and Lizzie Clawson.

Survived by Wife: Shirley Berry. Sons: Rick Berry of Tazewell. Scott Berry of Washington State. Daughter: Vicky Berry of Washington State. Linda and Lewis Wright and Janie and Johnny Jones all of Speedwell. 12 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Brothers: Arnold Berry and Wife: Wanda, Bill Berry and Wife: Carol all of Monroe, Michigan. Boss Berry Jr. and Wife: Bonnie of Arizona.

Funeral Service will be 1 PM Sunday, August 31, 2008 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Elder J.C. Monday and Rev. Charles Goins officiating. Interment will follow in Flat Hollow Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 PM Saturday night before funeral service.
