Doris June Rutherford

Doris June Rutherford age 79, of Habersham went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, peacefully at LaFollette Court Assisted Living surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on June 5,1945, in Gravelton, Indiana to the Late John Lee Callander and Hope Faye Brock Callander. Doris was a member of New Freedom Baptist Church, and she loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband TJ Rutherford; brothers Ralph and Robert Callander: and sister Mary Lou Hartman.

Doris is survived by her son Michael Rutherford and wife Jennifer of Duff; daughters Tammy Allen of Jacksboro; Michelle Rutherford of Sevierville; and Linda Fraze of Habersham; special son-in-law Michael Hunt; sisters Ellen Callendar and Barbara Miller both of Indiana;12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Adam Gulley officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Cemetery for a 11:00 am interment.
