Dorothy E. Coleman

Dorothy E. Coleman, age 90, of LaFollette passed away Thursday April 17, 2014. Mrs. Coleman was a member of Grantsboro Baptist Church, she was a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she loved gardening, embroidering and quilting.

Preceded in death by husband William E. Coleman, parents Leroy and Cora Hatmaker Day, brothers Otis Day, Elmer Day and infant brother Elga Day, sisters Rosie Ford, Novella Shepard, Roxie Bean and Retha Nelson.

Survived by daughter Fay Hill of LaFollette, son Harry Hill and wife Christina of LaFollette, grandchildren Eddie Hill, Cora Hill Sharp and Susie Hill Toney, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, a host of relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday April 21, 2014 in Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Ben Lawson officiating. Interment will be 11 am Tuesday April 22, 2014 in Bakers Forge cemetery.
