Earl David Martin

Earl David Martin age 61 of Jacksboro passed away Friday January 29, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge.  David was a loving husband of 39 years, father and papaw. He enjoyed his family especially his grandchildren. David loved anything to do with the outdoors and shopping at Lowes.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

David was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Irene Mowell Martin; a brother Don Martin and a sister Helen Jean Nelson.

Survivors include his wife Lois Martin; sons David Martin Jr. and Chris and daughter-in-law Amy Martin all of Jacksboro; grandchildren Cory, Ben and Will Martin; sister Linda Garner of Maryville, TN.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday February 1, 2010 at Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment will take place 12 p.m. Tuesday February 2, 2010 at Willoughby Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Martin Wilson Funeral Home.
