Earl Goodman

Earl Goodman age 80 of Caryville passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at his home. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather that loved spending time with his family. Mr. Goodman was a homebody that loved to tinker with old cars and work with his hands.

Preceded in death by Wife: Murlen Goodman. Son: Ulysses Goodman. Parents: Henry Goodman and Vanell Lough. Sister: June Harness.

Survived by Sons and Daughters in Law: Dean and Olene Goodman of Caryville. Eddie and Joyce Goodman of Jacksboro. Earl Edward and Rhonda Goodman of Jacksboro. Grandchildren: Melissa and husband Harold Mallicoat of Knoxville, Robert and wife Erica Goodman of Caryville, Chris and wife Tina Goodman of Jacksboro, Becky and husband John-Earl Broyles of Lafollette and Darrick and wife Samantha Goodman of Lafollette. Great Grandchildren: Aaron, Andrew, Devin, Tristen, Trenton, Christina, Austin, Mack, Chastity, Megan and Hunter.  Brothers: Paul Goodman. TJ Goodman and Wife: Faye of Caryville. Sisters: Lola Anderson of Scott Co. Margie Anderson of Scott Co., Kathleen Abston of Harriman, TN., Mary Rose Harness of Scott Co., and Mary Ward of Caryville. Sister in Law: Lauvena Strickland of Clinton and Brother in Law: Harvey Wyrick of Clinton. Special friends: Ella Beach, Lisa Harness and Mattie Pace all of Jacksboro.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Saturday, December 12, 2009 with funeral to follow at 8 PM in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Ralph Shetterly officiating. Interment will be 2 PM Sunday in Jacksboro Cemetery.
