Edda Crabtree

Edda Crabtree, age 56 of Lafollette went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at her home. She was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. She was a loving wife of 36 years, a mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to those she came in contact with. She enjoyed cooking, camping or anything to do with the outdoors. Edda loved attending church and working with her patients at Cumberland Village where she was an employee for 7 years.

Preceded in death by Parents: Authur and Alice Jane Heck. Sisters: Clara and Doris Heck.

Survived by Husband: L.D. Crabtree. Son and Daughter in Law: Lance and Jessica Crabtree of Lafollette. Granddaughter: Kendall Crabtree. Sister and Brother in Law: Brenda and Ronnie Johnson of Lafollette. Sister: Faye Heck of Lafollette. Brothers: Wayne, Steve and Don Heck of Lafollette. Brother and Sister in Law: Tony and Molly Heck of Lafollette. Special Friends: Jennifer Young and Mary Bruce. A host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Friday, July 10, 009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. James Adkins and Rev. Cecil Delk officiating. Interment will be 10 AM Saturday in Powell Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday night before funeral service.
