Edgar Ed Ivey

Edgar "Ed" Ivey age 72 of Caryville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday January 6, 2018.  Ed was a loving husband of 52 years, a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, he loved singing and going to Church at Faith Baptist Church of Caryville, where he was a Deacon for several years.

Preceded in death by parents Lawrence and Pearl Davis Ivey, brothers , John Ivey, Owen Ivey and Howard Ivey, sisters, Pauline Shown, Effalee Miller and Alma Jones.

Survived by wife Margaret Ivey of Caryville, sons and daughters in law, Randall and Wendy Ivey of Jacksboro, Gary and Diana Ivey of Loudon and Jeff and Ruth Ivey of LaFollette,  sister, Lucille Lynch and husband John of Indiana, grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, Jamie, Mara, Logan and Caitlin Ivey, 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday January 9, 2018 in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 8:00 with Rev. Jimmy Ault and Rev. Tom Reece officiating.  Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home for a 11:00 am  interment in Evans cemetery with Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside service.
