Edna Mary (Pierce) Ashley

Edna Mary Ashley, age 78 of LaFollette passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. Edna loved gardening, cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Edna  worked at the Diner for 10 plus years.

Preceded in death by Parents David and Easter Pierce, 1st husband Hubert Ashley and 2nd husband Danny Housley.

Survived by Sons Kenneth (Tink) Pierce of LaFollette and Danny Housley of Atlanta, GA, Daughters Linda Springman and husband Roger of Cleveland, TN and Brenda Housley of Bethlehem, GA, Grandchildren Mitchell, James and Wayne Henry, Kendra Pierce, Alexis Brewer, Haden, Ethan and Breanna Hutchison, 4 Great Grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday August 24, 2017 in chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral to follow at 8:00 with Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Family will have private burial on Friday August 25, 2017 at Bolinger cemetery.
