Edward Walden

Edward Walden, age 73, of LaFollette passed away on Friday December 2, 2022 at his home.  Edward was of the Baptist Faith and a member of High Knob Baptist Church. He was born July 3, 1949 to the late Hugh and Elizabeth Walden. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother Hugh Walden Jr. sisters Norene Brill, Louise Cantrell, and Shirley Russell, daughter Katherine Damron.

He is survived by his wife Judy Walden, sons Doug and wife Becky of Clinton, Junior and wife Rachel of LaFollette, Ray and wife Danielle Tipton of LaFollette. daughter Misty and husband Jason Jones of LaFollette, brother Wayne Walden of LaFollette, sisters Wilma Hammond of LaFollette, Sandra Chapman of Jacksboro, Sarah and J. B. Monday of Jacksboro, Wanda and Herb Strevel of Virginia, grandchildren Anthony, Emily, Katelyn and husband Garrett, Kobe, MaKaya, BJ, Kylie, Jordan, Kayte, Joshalynn, Cassie, Lindsay and Shaliah. Several great grandchildren. Nieces, nephew, family and friends, His best fur baby Spot, aunts Gladys Green of Jacksboro and Ruby Norman of LaFollette. Special thank you to daughter-in-law Rachel for all the help caring for Ed in his final days.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday December 6, 2022 in Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home, funeral service will follow at 7:00 with Rev. Doug Walden and Rev. Bill Braden officiating. Family and friends will meet at Martin Wilson Funeral Home at 12:00 PM on Wednesday December 7, 2022 and go in procession to Flat Hollow Cemetery for the interment.
