Ella Mae Loyd

Ella Mae Muse Loyd age 85 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell Co. She was saved at the age of 13 at Antioch Baptist Church in Scott Co. and she was a long time member of Pioneer Baptist Church. Mrs. Loyd was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother who loved going to church when she was able and loved gospel music. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, flowers, bushes, and especially loved roses and gardening.

Preceded in death by Parents: Andy and Ada Baird Muse. Step Mother: Lucinda Muse. Sisters: Joyce Black and Lucinda Awbry. Brothers: Robert Muse, LC Muse, and infant boy. Husband of 62 years: Mountie Loyd. Son: Rev. Jimmie Ray Loyd.

Survived by Daughters: Shella Hunley and husband: Roger of Pioneer, TN. Brenda Crabtree and husband: Maynard of Caryville, TN. Patsy Barnes and husband: Densille of Helenwood, TN. Daughter in Law: Beatrice Loyd of Huntsville, TN. Sons: Daniel Loyd and wife: Donna of LaFollette. Joel Loyd and wife: Rhonda of Conryers, GA. Mitchel Loyd of LaFollette. 15 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great Great Grandchildren. Sisters: Stella Branim, Willa Jean Shown, Melba Shannon, Pauline Shannon and Alma Collins. Brother: Andy Muse Jr. Many Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.

Funeral service will be 2 PM Saturday, March 21 at Pioneer Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Pete Norman, Rev. Donald Kidd, and Rev. Jerry Chitwood officiating. Interment will follow in Campbell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 until 2 Saturday before funeral service at the church.
