Elmer Ray Hammons

Elmer Ray Hammons, age 78, of LaFollette passed away Tuesday June 7, 2016. He was a member of Cleveland Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by parents Charlie and Ollie Simpson Hammons, granddaughter Miranda Lynne Silvers, brother Charles Kenneth Hammons.

Survived by wife Sylvia Hammons, sons Brian Hammons and wife Angela of Chesapeake, VA, Robert Norman and wife Susan of Huntsville, daughters Pam Brown and husband Reuben , Shirley Polland, Lisa Roberts and husband Charlie all of Xenia, Ohio and Karyn Rucker of Jacksboro, brothers Ronnie Hammons and wife Jeannie of Blue Creek, Ohio and Donnie Hammons of Wallins, KY, 27 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends,

Visitation will be 11:00-12:00 noon on Saturday June 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 12:00 with Bro. Chase Lay officiating. Interment will be Powell Valley cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church youth group.
