Elmer Lee Kitts

Elmer Lee Kitts age 73 of Jacksboro,  born to the late Rose and Gertude Kitts passed away Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a member of High Knob Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by Parents: Rose and Gertrude Harmon Kitts. Brothers: Rose Kitts Jr. and Troy Kitts. Sisters: Naomi Gillum and Margaret Kitts. Step Son: Stanley Marlow.

Survived by Wife: Liza Kitts of Jacksboro. Sons: Elmer Lee and Wife: Jeannie and Eugene Kitts. Daughters: Margaret Kitts and Tommy Sue Chapman all of LaFollette. Brothers: Boyde Kitts and Wife: Nancy, RL Kitts and Wife: Cloeva, Billy Kitts, David Kitts and Wife: Martha, Larry Kitts and wife: Kathy, Ronny Kitts and Wife: Della. Sisters: Barbara Carson and Husband: Boyde, Lorraine Rutherford, Geraldine Ayers, Linda McCreary and Husband: Don all of LaFollette. Step Daughters: Gale Creekmore and Husband; Johnny, Deborah McGinnis, Elaine Davis and Husband: Paul, Ann Smith and Husband: David, Darlene White and Husband: Charlie, Step Sons: Tony Marlow and Wife: Emma, Ralph Marlow and Wife: Shelia. And a host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Sunday, March 29 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Tommy Gillum and Rev. Kenny Gillum officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Monday in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday night before funeral service.
