Elmus "Junior" Gaylor Jr.

Elmus “Junior” Gaylor Jr. age 64 of Caryville, departed this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at his home. He was born on November 10, 1961, to the late Elmus and Evelyn (Lay) Gaylor. Junior enjoyed spending time in the mountains, fishing, and spending time outdoors with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Mary Ann Begley.

Junior is survived by his ex-wife Thelma Louise Gaylor; son Elmus Travis Gaylor; daughter Danielle Marcum; brothers Jerry Gaylor and Dean Lay and Patricia; sisters Alma Lawson and Allen, Peggy Smallwood, Kathy Copeland and Micheal, and Tammy Gould; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Family and friends will meet at 11:45 AM om Saturday February 7th, 2026 at New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery in Pioneer for a 12:00 PM graveside service.
