Elsie M Asbury

Elsie M. Asbury, age 78, of Jacksboro passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015.She was a member of the Jellico Hwy Church of God. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother that enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting Cades Cove and spending time with her church family & friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Luke & Creatie (Paul) Parks; husband Bill Asbury; son Kent Asbury; brothers John, Lihu and Jehu Parks and sister Barbara Parks.

She is survived by her daughters Susan Asbury of Oak Ridge and Julia Daniel & husband Phil of Ten Mile, TN; grandchildren Kelly, Amanda, Keaton, Kaitlin and Samantha and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow with Rev. Darrell Reese and Rev. Merrill Campbell officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 am on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Harness Cemetery.
