Elsie Cora Puckett

Elsie Cora Puckett, age 102 of Speedwell passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016. She enjoyed crafts, flowers, sewing, and reading. Elsie was a very happy person and loved spending time with her family. She also liked to sit on her porch watching the birds and squirrels.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Walter Puckett; daughters Betty Houston and Cathy Marlow; parents Charlie and Letasha (Looney) Rowe; and all her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son Dan (Peggy) Puckett and Jim (Linda) Puckett, both ofSpeedwell; daughters Helen (Elwood) Nicely of Speedwell, Sue Price of Michigan, and Linda (Bill) Wright of LaFollette; 15 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 27 great great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Puckett will be 11-1 Monday, April 25, 2016 and the funeral service at 1:00 pm. The interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery following the service.
