Ernest Wilson

Ernest F. Wilson, age 70, of Michigan went to be home with his Lord on Friday, November 1st, 2013. He was born December 9, 1942 in LaFollette, TN son of Delmas and Mecie (Ayers) Wilson. Ernie was a custodian at the University of Michigan for 23 years retiring in 2004. He loved to golf and loved working in his yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother JR Wilson, and nephew Michael D. Wilson.

He is survived by two sisters Lois Rains of Canton, MI and Sandra K. Kitts of Ypsilanti, MI; four brothers Kenneth (Ina) Wilson of Maynardsville, TN, Ray (Jan) Wilson of Clairmont, FL, Ronnie (Brenda) Wilson of Belton, SC, and Jimmy (Ada) Wilson of Leesburg, FL; three nieces Debby LaFever, Sherry Moody, and Dottie Anipen; and three nephews Stephen Wilson, Anthony Rains, and Michael Kitts. Michael was raised by his Uncle Ernie and his mother Sandra, and always considered him as a father.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7th, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow visitation at 8:00 pm with Brother Danny Riggs officiating. Interment will be held on Friday, November 8th, 2013 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery.
