Ernestine Bronson Richardson

Ernestine Richardson, age 96 of LaFollette, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at LaFollette Court Assisted Living. She was born on March 7, 1928, to the late Jack Bronson and Tampa (Carmichael) Livingston. Ernestine enjoyed reading, shopping, sewing, loved cooking, traveling, and most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Shields Worth Richardson; son Tom Richardson; daughter Sheila    Richardson; great granddaughter Shiloh; and daughter-in-law Deb Richardson.

Ernestine is survived by her sons Jack Richardson and wife Kathy of LaFollette, Gerry Richardson of Knoxville, and Terry Richardson and wife Darlene of Norris; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024, in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home (305 E. Beech Street, LaFollette) with the Funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 AM on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in funeral procession to Bakers Forge Cemetery for and 10:00 AM interment.
