Estel Rex Mays

Estel Rex Mays, age 85, of Jacksboro went home to be with the Lord on Friday April 28, 2017. He was a member of Lake View Baptist Church, Mr. Mays  was a very loving husband, father, grandfather that enjoyed going to church and spending time with his family and friends and his dogs, he also loved to play golf.

Preceded in death by parents John Henry and Mary Elizabeth Hatfield Mays, brothers Oscar, Henry, Bill and John Mays.

Survived by wife Frankie Louise Mays of Jacksboro, sons Darrell Rutherford and wife Regina of Jacksboro, Gabe McCarty of Jacksboro, Brad Mays and wife Lisa of Texas, daughter Julie May of Texas, grandchildren Gates McCarty Johnathan Rutherford, Cable McCarty, Kennedy Mays, Travis May and McKayla May.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday May 1, 2017 at Lake View Baptist Church, funeral service will follow at 8:00 with Rev. Roger Stanley and Bro. Terry Beach

officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Martin Wilson Funeral Home and go to Campbell Memorial Gardens for a 11:00 am interment with the Campbell County Honor Guard in charge of graveside service.
