Etta Eva Tinch Davis

Etta Eva Morgan Tinch Davis, age 71, of LaFollette passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014. She was member of Forks Grove Baptist Church. She was the loving wife of Jim Sammons that enjoyed crocheting, sewing, working in her yard and caring for her loving dog Monty.

Preceded in death by son Mark Anthony Tinch; parents Marvin Henry "Britches" & Mary Jane (Wilburn) Morgan; brothers Virgil and Eugene Morgan; and sisters Glenna Morgan and Reba Norman.

Survived by husband Jim Sammons; sons and wives Darwin and Alice Tinch, Scott and Suzanna Tinch all of LaFollette; daughters Missy Mattie of LaFollette, Tammy Wylds and Melissa Horn both of Cincinnati, Ohio; brothers and wives Charles H. & Dorthy Morgan of LaFollette and Leroy & Crystal Morgan of Jacksboro; sisters Lola Teague of LaFollette and Anna Sue Berry & husband Rick of LaFollette; and grandchildren McKenzie, Kaitlyn, Christian and Nicholas Tinch, Katie Mattie Siler & husband Robert and Leanne Mattie.

Family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral service to follow with Rev. Tim Moore officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Powell Valley Cemetery.
