Eva Maxwell

Eva Maxwell age 82 of LaFollette passed away Saturday February 28, 2009 at Summit View Nursing Home in Lake City.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mrs. Maxwell was a member of Alder Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Maxwell was preceded in death by Parents: William Hess and Mealie Cinnamon White Husband: R.L. Maxwell. She was also preceded by five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include Sons and Daughters in Law: Richard and Kay Maxwell of LaFollette, Gene and April Ivey of Ocala, FL., Daughter: Janice Wilson of Jacksboro; sisters Pauline Johnson of LaFollette and Reba Ayers of Lake City; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother: Ulyss White of LaFollette.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel. Funeral service will be 8 PM Monday with Rev. Steve Elkins officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at 10:15 AM at Martin Wilson Funeral Home to go in procession to Shelby Cemetery.  Graveside service will be at 11 AM in Shelby Cemetery.
