Evelyn Bruce

Evelyn Pyles Bruce age 86 of LaFollette passed away early Sunday morning at her home. Mrs. Bruce was a member of East LaFollette Baptist Church. She loved to sew & work in her garden.

Preceded in death by husband: Thomas Bruce. Parents: Hobert & Oma Raines Pyles, Brothers: Horace, Robert, J T. & Luther Pyles, Sisters: Mary Lou Disney, Stella Lasley & Ruth Pyles. Son in Law: Joe Cotton.

Survivors by Children: Eddie Bruce and Wife: Mona, Danny Bruce and Wife: Vickie, Claude "Peanut" Bruce and Wife: Sharon all of LaFollette. Johnny Bruce and Wife: Diane of Jacksboro. Tommie Whithone and Husband: Jim of Orlando, FL. Cheryl Cotton of Jacksboro, Glenna Burress and Johnny Ball of Jacksboro. 16 Grandchildren & 18 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandson. Several Nieces, Nephews & a host of Relatives & Friends.

Funeral Services will be 8 PM Tuesday, June 23 in  Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Bill Braden officiating. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 PM Tuesday night before Funeral service.  Interment will be 11 AM Wednesday in Jacksboro Cemetery.
