Evelyn Louise Fitzwater

Evelyn Louise Fitzwater, age 100 of LaFollette passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017.  She was a member of Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church.  She loved sewing quilts.  Evelyn was a great cook and fed everyone that would come by to visit.  She also loved her family, friends, and her church family.

She is preceded in death by parents George and Eva Allen Nunnelly; husband Virgil Fitzwater; daughter Shirley Ann Dillman; great granddaughter Brandy Thompson.

She is survived by son Kenneth Gene Hicks and wife Una Marie of Gladwin, MI., stepson Gail Fitzwater and wife Virginia of Indianapolis, Ind.; step-daughter Lois Miller and husband Forrest of Phoenix, AZ.; 6 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 11 AM – 1 PM, Saturday, Apri1 15, 2017 at Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church; funeral service at 1 PM with Rev. Larry Russell officiating.  Interment will follow service to Valley View Cemetery in Pioneer, TN.
