Evon Crabtree

Evon Crabtree, age 89, of Caryville passed away Saturday April 27, 2013. She was a member of Lake View Baptist Church. She loved singing Gospel music, her church family and spending time with her family whom she loved very much.

Preceded in death by Husband: Herthel Crabtree. Son: Bobby Ray Crabtree. Parents: Thomas Lay and Vena Silcox.

Survived by Children: E. L. and Reva Crabtree of Jacksboro, Maynard and Brenda Crabtree of Caryville, Bea Loyd of Jacksboro, L. D. Crabtree of LaFollette, Sheila Brassfield of Caryville, Stanley and Tammy Crabtree of Oliver Springs, Carl and Paula Crabtree of Jacksboro, Kathy Crabtree of Caryville and Patricia and Sonny Lay of Caryville. 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 8 PM Wednesday May 1, 2013 in the Chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Stanley and Rev. James Adkins officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM before funeral service. Interment will be 11 AM Thursday May 2, 2013 in Terry Creek Cemetery.
