Fay Louise (Taylor) Chadwell

Fay Louise Taylor Chadwell, age 69, of Jacksboro, departed this life on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017 at her residence. She was of the Church of God faith. Fay enjoyed cooking, sitting on her porch listening to the rain with her pet companion, Max and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a beloved 4th grade teacher at Valley View Elementary School for over 20 plus years, where she was known by all of the students as "Ms. Fay".

She is preceded in death by father, James F. Taylor and daughter, Lisa Michelle Holloway.

She is survived by mother, Aldy Taylor of LaFollette; son, Brian Chadwell and wife, Tonya of Jacksboro; daughters, Sondra Denise Luna and husband, Glenn of Jacksboro and Jennifer Faye Hatmaker and Frankie Banks of LaFollette; brothers, James "Buck" Taylor and wife, Anita of Speedwell and Ed Taylor and wife, Angela of LaFollette; sisters, Ruth Chadwell and husband, Gary of LaFollette, Sharon James and husband, Lonnie of LaFollette, and Lou James and husband, Harry of LaFollette. Fay is also survived by her loving eight grandchildren and one great grandchild and several other family members.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, November 10th, 2017 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Harry James officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 AM on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at the funeral home to go in funeral procession to Powell Valley Memorial Gardens for 11:00 AM interment.
