Faye Ann Nelson

Faye Ann Nelson, age 69 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 26, 2018.  Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.    She was a nurse for 30 years and a nursing instructor at Campbell County High School for 12 years, where she was part of the HOSA program.  She had a passion for nursing and worked hard to instill that same love in her students.  She loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends.  Faye was a Christian and a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by parents Dock and Cecil (Gross) Phillips; granddaughter Katelyn Ann May Norman.

She is survived by sons Kelly Shawn Nelson of Jacksboro, Chris Nelson & wife Courtney of Jacksboro; daughters Verneca Miller & husband Greg of LaFollette, Donna Missy Ranta & husband Glen of LaFollette; sister Glenda Reynolds of Cookeville, TN.; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Faye will be 5-7 PM Thursday, August 30, 2018 in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 7 PM with Rev. Lawrence Henegar and Brother Greg Miller officiating.
