Flora Bray

August 15, 1928 — May 17, 2009

Flora Bray of Lafollette passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the U.T. Medical Center of Knoxville. She was a member of Beaverdale Baptist Church in Halls. Flora was a loving mother. She was a devoted wife of Harlan for 34 years, grandmother and great grandmother that was very compassionate and cared more for others than she did herself. Flora was a proud author of a published biography of her life entitled "Wednesday's Child".

Preceded in death by Parents: Joe Estes and Anna Fredricks Crawford. Brothers: Jim, Harold, O.C., and Jack Crawford. Sisters: Bessie Richardson and Jo Ann Smith.

Survived by Husband: Harlan Bray. Son: Joe Moore of Knoxville. Sons and Daughters in Law: George and Linda Moore of Townsend and Charles and Sandy Moore of Andersonville. Daughter and Son in Law: Elizabeth and Dennis Trentham of Lafollette. Daughter: Regina Frye of Sevierville. 12 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters in Law: Bill and Evelyn Crawford and John and Elsie Crawford. Sister: Carol Hale.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Wednesday, May 20, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Randy Webb and Rev. Ronnie Arnold officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Thursday in Bakers Forge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday night before funeral service.
