Floyd Overbey, age 83 passed away December 9, 2008 in Lubbock, TX after a lengthy illness. He died peacefully with his daughter at his side. He was born January 19, 1925 to the late William B. and Dicie Overbey.

Preceded in death by Wife: Ruth Beeler Overbey. Son: Terry Overbey. Sisters: Beulah White and Sylvia Wilhoit. Brother: Herod Overbey.

Survived by Daughter: Sharon Williams of Lubbock, TX. Grandson: Rick Klenke of Ft. Worth, TX. Granddaughter: Lisa Jablonski of Lebanon, Ohio. 4 Great Grandchildren. Brother: Charlie Overbey of Dayton, Ohio. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be 11 AM Monday, December 15 in Martin Wilson Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunrise Cemetery.
