Frank Nelson

Frank Nelson, age 89, of LaFollette passed from this life on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the LaFollette Health & Rehab Center surrounded by his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Retha Nelson, father and mother George & Celia Nelson, daughter Etta Sue Nelson Goins, son-in-law Ronald Goins, brothers Emmett, Merl, Lee Allen, and Horace Nelson, sisters Tennessee Russell, Irene Nelson, and Della Nelson.

He is survived by his son Haskell Gayle Nelson & wife Lunda, daughter Jean Nelson Adkins & husband C.L. Adkins, brothers Howard and J.C. Nelson, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 in the Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Charles Wilson and Rev John Vanover officiating. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Interment will be on Thursday, April 12, 2012 in the Bakers Forge Cemetery.
