Frank Bibee Thompson

Frank Bibee Thompson, Jr., age 77, of Jacksboro passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at UT Medical Center. He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and granddaughter Kylie and going to church. He was close friends with Mary Bratcher and was a deacon of the church for 8 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Frank B. Thompson, Sr. and Linda (Lawson) Thompson, wife Shirley Thompson, son Jackie Lynn Thompson, brothers Homer & Ted Thompson, and sister Glenna Cupp.

He is survived by his son Tim Thompson & wife Angela of Powell, daughters Joy Miller & husband Kent of Pennsylvania and Pam Thompson and fiancé Travis Harness of Huntsville, brothers Roscoe Thompson of Caryville and Jimmy Thompson of LaFollette, sisters Lela Daugherty of Jacksboro, Caroline Daugherty of Caryville, and Mary Lou Pike of Indiana, and grandchildren Dewayne, Angela Jan, Alisha, Ashton, & Kiley.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6th, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Service will follow at 8:00 pm. Interment will be held on Sunday, July 7th, 2013 at 10:00 am at Adkins Cemetery in Scott County.
