Franklin Dwayne Lasley

Franklin Dwayne Lasley Jr., age 35 of Powell went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 14, 2010. He was a member of Clinch River Baptist Church. He was a very loving husband, father, brother and uncle that enjoyed life. Dwayne loved spending time with his immediate family as well as his church family where he was a Bible school teacher and Awana Game director. He was very active with youth, coaching basketball, football, and softball. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone he met.

Preceded in death by Parents: Franklin Sr. and Meady Ann Lasley.

Survived by Wife: Darcy Lasley. Son: Caleb Lee Lasley. Daughter: Ceara Marie Lasley. Sisters: Melinda Anderson and Bill White of Lafollette. Jo Ann Hart of Knoxville. In Laws, Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Clinch River Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Tillman and Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Thursday in Indian Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday before funeral service.
