Frieda Lina Walkden

Frieda Lina (Schilip) Walkden, age 85, went to meet the Lord on Thursday, May 7, 2015. She attended Reunion Baptist Church. Frieda was born in Karlsruhe, Germany, married an American soldier and came to the United States in 1954. Frieda was a devoted & loving wife, mother, and Oma. She spent her life caring for her family and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son Donald Walkden of Amarillo, TX, her daughter Ruth Haggard & husband Bill, her precious grandchildren Steve Haggard & wife Courtney and Melissa Smith & her husband Jason and the joys of her life, her great-grandchildren Caitlin, Lily and Marshall.

A private family graveside service will be held on at 11:15 am on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Pastor Morgan Lester officiating.

Martin Wilson Funeral Home of LaFollette is in charge of these arrangements.
