Geneva (Roberts) Jordan

Geneva (Roberts) Jordan known as Neve, age 96, of Jacksboro passed away Saturday October 26, 2013. She was born to Bill and Bessie Byrd Roberts on February 18, 1917 in Campbell County
Geneva was one of seven siblings and was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Ed and Charles Roberts, four sisters Fronie Jordan, Willine Adkins, Thelma Collins and Margie Chambers. great great grandson Brady Goins. She was also preceded in death by husband R. L. Jordan in 1985, son Michael in 2012 and son in law Jim Kimball in 2002.

Geneva was the mother of nine, including three sets of twins.
Survived by sons and wives Fred and Carolyn Jordan, Steve and Kathy Jordan all of Caryville, Keith and Cecelia Jordan of Knoxville, Wade and Linda Jordan, Wayne and Lydia Jordan and Richard and Kelly Jordan all of Dayton, Oh, daughters and son in law Carol and David Cox of Marietta, Ga and Pasty Kimball of Dayton, Oh. 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-7:30 pm Tuesday October 29, 2013in Martin Wilson Chapel with funeral to follow at 7:30 with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Interment will be 10 am Wednesday October 30, 2013 in Meredith cemetery.
