Geneva Shoun age 78 of Jacksboro went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband Curtis Shoun July 22, 2011 at St. Mary's of Campbell County. Geneva was a founding member of the Fundamental Baptist Church, she also enjoyed fishing, cooking, praying for the lost and her family was her life.
She was preceded in death by Husband: Curtis Shoun, Parents: James and Martha Mckamey Phillips. Brothers: Willmer, Elmer, Kilmer, Carlos and Earnest Phillips. Sisters: Kilsie Henderson and Carrie Gross.
Survived by Daughters: Jo Ann and husband Steve Chapman and Martha and husband Gary Smith both of Jacksboro. Grandchildren: Matt and Ami Jo Childress and Josh and Lea Denise Gibson. Great Grandchildren: Paige, Bryson and Ali Jo Childress and KeeLee Gibson. Brothers: Virgil Phillips of Jacksboro and Odis Phillips of Lafollette. Sisters: Elsie Warman Jacksboro, Frostie Henderson Lafollette and Oma Heatherly Von Aqua, Tn.
Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM on Sunday July 24, 2011 in the chapel of Martin Wilson funeral home with Rev. Larry Russell and Rev. Matt Childress officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM before funeral service. Interment will be 11:00 AM Monday July 25, 2011 at Campbell Memorial Gardens.
