Georgia Ann Mercer

Georgia Ann Mercer age 83 of Jacksboro passed away Saturday, January 30, 2010 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Knoxville. She was a member of Bruce Gap Community Church of God. Mrs. Mercer enjoyed going to church, gardening, sewing and loved her family very much. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by Son: Ernest James Boshears, Parents: William and Susie Madison. Daughter in Law: Vickie Boshears. Brothers: Jim, Earn, Ed, Paul, and Silas Madison. Sister: Ethel Phillips.

Survived by Husband of 53 years: Hancel Mercer of Jacksboro. Daughter: Sue Caughorn of Jacksboro. Grandchildren: James and Jessica Boshears, Todd and Keith Gryder, and Lisa Hensley. 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Sister: Evey Cole of Jacksboro. Very Special Niece: Sue Ann Lindsay of Jacksboro. Several Nieces, Nephews and a host of Relatives and Friends.

Funeral service will be 12 PM Wednesday in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Williard McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in Queener Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Tuesday night in Martin Wilson Chapel.
