Glen "Louie" Louis Sweat age 77 of Sumter, SC passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2009. He was a member of Graham Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by Wife: Roberta "Bobbie" Sweat. Daughter: Sandra Sutherland. Parents: William and Ethel Violet Sweat. Brother: Leon Sweat. Sisters: Allene Sweat and Bonnie Maxwell.
Survived by Grandchildren: Courtney Moore and Tray Sutherland. Great Grandchildren: Gavin and Colin Moore. Step Great Granddaughter: Madison Smart. Brothers: Lee C. Sweat of LaFollette. Clarence Sweat of Athens, TN. Sisters: Opal Dubose of Sumter, SC, Carolene Sweat Bogard of Pelion, SC. Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral service will be 8 PM Saturday, August 29 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Orick officiating. Interment will be 11 AM Sunday in Sweat Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Saturday before funeral service.
