Glenda Gail Austin

Glenda Gail Williamson Austin, age 46 of Knoxville, TN is rejoicing in her eternal home as of January 14, 2011 after 11 years of a brave battle with cancer. Her strength, faith, humor and lovely smile will be missed by several families, Williamson, Wilson, Person, Branam, Austin, Howard and Littlefields of Lafollette and Knoxville, TN. She leaves her hand prints with every person with whom she had contact. She brought families together with her humor and strong faith. She is a fantastic, loving and devoted mother to 3 precious children, Kari Austin Williamson of Knoxville, TN, Shannon and John Austin of Arizona. A loving and devoted aunt to a favorite niece LCP Mara Williamson of Camp Pendleton, CA. A loving sister Janell Williamson of Knoxville, TN. No words can describe the daughter she is to Cherry L. Williamson and special friend Darrell of Knoxville. A special niece to Aunt Mary and Aunt Janice. A special cousin to Abbie, Joan and TY.

Preceded in the eternal life Father: James Glen Williamson and Uncle Walt.

A special thank you to Dr. Jacqueline Crawford and Lettie for the excellent care given to Glenda during her 11 years battle with her determination to beat the odds. Thank you Dr. Donald Branam and Dr. Burgin Woods for the wonderful comfort and care you gave Glenda during this abnormal fight to the end. The family wishes to thank Mercy Health and REB of Lafollette, TN for the strength, faith and excellent care and comfort they gave Glenda and her family these last several weeks. Special thank you to Second North Comfort Care Staff, Staff Nurses, CNA's, housekeeping, activity directors, food service, and all others who touched our lives through this difficult time.
