Glenda Faye Blankenship

Glenda Faye Blankenship, age 62 of Lafollette passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County. Mrs. Blankenship was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was a great wife and mother who loved her family very much. She had a generous heart and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Preceded in death by Parents: Clarence Jack and Joyce Opal Bussell Sweeney.

Survived by Husband: William Blankenship of Lafollette. Son: Roger Blankenship of AL. Son and Daughter in Law: Carl and Wanda Blankenship of Lafollette. Daughter: Sally Ann Kunz of Morristown, TN. Daughter and Son in Law: Alice and Steve Kitts of Lafollette. 9 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Sister and Brother in Law: Brenda and James Cole of Jacksboro.  Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 8 PM Saturday, January 31, 2009 in Martin Wilson Chapel with Rev. Steve Bruce and Rev. Carlos Bruce officiating. Interment will be 1 PM Sunday, February 1, 2009 in Douglas Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday night before funeral service.
